Leadership team
As a leadership team, we are committed to servant leadership
Our attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
The key leader and elder is Dyfrig Hughes
Nick Hillman is also an elder and takes lead responsibility for the teaching programme. He also develops the website and is involved in leading the puppet team.
Under the leadership of Joanne Hillman, the children's work has grown and developed amazingly. Jo will lead this important area in the life of the church.
Susan Hebditch and Anne Death share administration and pastoral care.
Pam France, together with Jo, lead our home group. She, together with Nick and Jo, are the driving forces behind the puppet team. Pam is also involved in leading worship.
We are committed to serving God, being faithful to His calling both to care for the members of the church, and to making the good news of Jesus Christ known in Penistone and district.
We are entering a new season in the life of the church, and the Leadership Team want to hear from you about your hopes and worries about what lies ahead.
