The young people are encouraged to join in with the singing of praise and worship songs/hymns and we encourage them to have fun and use instruments. We also encourage our young musicians to take part in the service.
After the worship section of the service (about 20 minutes), we pray for the young people as they go out to their individual church groups. There are groups for all ages, including teenagers and these are led by members of the church all of whom are DBS checked. In the young people’s groups, the study material is from Scripture Union and through this, we particularly encourage story telling, discussion, craft, drama and chat.
We are passionate about our young people enjoying their church experience and this includes the home bakes and juice at the end of the service.
Our prayer is that the young people will get to know Jesus in a safe and fun environment and will be able to go out into schools and the world with confidence and grace.
